Once safely back in Kinshasa, she becomes involved in the development of a school to assist in the education of young people to become leaders of their nations in the future, but her plans are threatened by the band of terrorists who take the school and hold the pupils and staff hostage, demanding the release of all terrorists held captive by the Government.

Ransom is the third book in the Integra series.  Ideally it should be read after Integra and Run!, but it can be enjoyed equally on its own.
